Minute Message

A quick look at Ruth 4:18-22. God uses the faithfulness of Ruth to bless many future generations. My life can be used by God not only for the now, but also for the future.

A quick look at Ruth 3:1-5. Naomi and Truth come up with a plan to pursue God's blessing. I must also strategically plan to seek righteousness in my life. 

A quick look at Ruth 2:11-12. The news of Ruth's loving deed has reached Boaz and so he blesses her. She did not self-promote, but worked hard. I also must work hard and let others praise my work. 

A quick look at Ruth 1:19-21. God is in control of every situation, even the hard ones. I must have faith and hope in Him. 

A quick look at Acts 19:1-5. Paul needed to reteach the gospel to those in the Church. I cannot assume that everyone in church community is saved and much always go back to the gospel. 

A quick look at Acts 18:24-28. Priscilla and Aquila quietly correct Apollos and he continues in fruitful ministry work. I must be known for graciousness and encouragement. 

A quick look at Acts 17:6-7. Paul and Silas are turning the world upside down with the gospel. I can do the same through the power of the Holy Spirit and faithfulness in witnessing. 

A quick look at Acts 16:25-30. Paul and Silas stay in prison even though they have an opportunity to leave. They see incredible fruit as the Jailer is saved. I can't look to only improve my temporal situation, but must look to improve other's eternal situation. 

A quick look at Acts 15:36-41. Paul and Barnabas have a sharp disagreement and seperate. It is better to seek peace and only disagree when it really matters. 

A quick look at Acts 14:15. The men wanted to worship Paul and Barnabas, but they told them to only worship the living God. I must not look to or follow the preacher, but God.
